Working with Gilbert on this record has been both an honour and a pleasure. Gilbert is a master craftsman as a songwriter and has proved once again that he is one of our most gifted artists…a national treasure! We recorded this album in June 2021 and completed it in the autumn of the same year. On release it has become another top 30 record for Gilbert and given him probably the best reviews he has ever had.
